I am not your typical blogger who writes every day. Darlingnicky rarely posts and rarely updates, and yet, I always find myself on a whim and in need of a good laugh. I am a writer, a blogger, a mom, a wife, and a new-to-the-family in-law.
The name Darlingnicky sounds like a combination of “darling” and “nicky,” and I guess that is because of my name. But I don’t like the name at all because I have a hard time naming my kids or babies (or babies in general) because I’m a writer. I don’t like the sound of my name because I don’t want to sound like a nickname.
I guess my favorite song about a girl is “The Little Prince”. If you don’t like it, go on.
I have a hard time saying the name I was born with because I have a hard time finding the sound of my name. And I will not stand for this name to be taken away from me.
