She’s a great name. It’s a mix of a Greek prefix, a verb, and a suffix -lantis. She was a character in the original Star Trek series and I’m not going to lie, it’s a badass one too.
She is a character in the popular Star Trek series, but this blog is all about exploring the world of science fiction and how we interpret things as the universe unfolds. For example, I am studying how space travel works and how the space program itself is one of the most important events in our future.
The universe is a big place, and the characters in Star Trek are the best because they’re the ones who are able to make sense of this universe and the events in it. That being said, shes not the first person to take this approach. The author James T Kirk was known for taking the time to explain things to the reader, as well. This is what makes him a great Star Trek character, but it also makes her the wrong role model.
Yes, you can be an author, but you can also be a writer. James T Kirk wasn’t the first person to take on this role, but he was probably the first to do it right. If you take the time to make clear that you’re not writing your own stories, you can be the kind of person who is the kind of person who does what he and others like him do.
So, James T Kirk is a great role model for authors, but for writers, James T Kirk is the wrong role model. And shesatlantis, the writer in question, is the wrong role model for writers too.
A lot of people are confused by this, but writers arent necessarily “the people who do what others do”. We don’t say that we write our own stories. We say we write what others write for us. And for a writer, writing for self is a lot like writing for a publisher. There are several types of publication that exist for writers.
Publishers are people who have the money, time, and ability to buy up books from authors who want to publish their work. (And the publishers know how to sell, they have access to the best booksellers in the business.) In contrast, authors are people who have the time to write, and who do it for the love of the writing itself. This has two major advantages: You can write when you have the time, and you can write for yourself.
But the truth is that there are plenty of authors who are better at selling a book than at writing it. You can be a bestselling author and a terrible writer. That’s true for just about every type of author. The one thing that makes a book good is its content. You can’t just write a book like you can an autobiography.
I think that the hardest thing about self-publishing is trying to figure out what the hell you’re trying to say. I was a writer of short fiction for many years, but I didn’t really care to write prose. When I was trying to figure out what I was trying to say, I was always looking for the voice in prose that I liked to hear. Thats what made me comfortable writing prose.
